How groups can help 

At first, participating in a group might seem frightening, having to open up to strangers and share your  "stuff". However, it can  be quite an healing experience. Group therapy has been proven to be quite effective in identifying patterns that hold us back from living our ideal lives and having the relationships we want. We heal in community. There is something to having someone witness your pain and grow that can be immensely validating.  Groups generally meet once or twice per week with 8-10 people. Here's how groups can help

Choice based Anger management

Choice-based Anger Control is designed to empower you to take control of your life by developing strategies and techniques to calm the anger within. Choice-based Anger Control is based on a simple philosophy: “Our lives are the sum total of our choices and actions.” As human beings, our total existence is determined by the daily choices we make—in essence we choose our way through life. We are responsible for choosing the direction, meaning, and purpose for our lives. Choice-based Anger Control’s premise is that a transformed mind leads to a transformed life. In essence, anger control is about transforming our lives by our choices and actions and developing the skills for making quality choices that lead to positive personal growth and development.

This is the group for you. We are dedicated to those who are searching for the necessary skills to move past depression and to experience joy in their lives.

The group starts on the 11th of February and will run for 8 consecutive weeks. We will cover helpful versus unhelpful thinking patterns, healthy coping skills, interpersonal skills and effective problem solving strategies. Come join us at Solace Intervention where hope and healthy meet.
